About JIDE ONIIGI

Bamgbowu Olajide Henry, popularly known as Jideoniigi, began singing and playing the drums at a very young age in Ogun State, Nigeria. His passion and dedication to music became evident early in life, and during his time at Saint Anthony International School in Lagos State, he emerged as the Music Director and lead drummer of the school.

He later earned a Bachelor’s degree in English and Literary Studies from Ekiti State University (EKSU), graduating with a Second Class Upper division. While at EKSU, he distinguished himself as one of the leading drummers in the institution and became highly sought after by churches and music artists across Ekiti State.

Jideoniigi was also the pioneer of the popular “Drummer of the Week” series on Facebook, a platform that showcased drumming excellence and built a growing online community.

Over the years, he has worked with notable bands including Bethel Jazz Crew, Tite Fingers Crew, Anointed Fingers, and D Levites, among others. His versatility and professionalism have led him to perform and record with several prominent gospel artists in Nigeria such as Soji Adeleke, Dare Justified, BBO, and Tella Irawanla. Internationally, in the United Kingdom, he has collaborated with artists including Ada Ehi, Yadah, Richy Okeychukwu, GT Praise, Seyi Isreal and Also played at NSPPD UK Conference.

He currently serves as a drummer at CHABOD Streams of Joy International in the United Kingdom, where he continues to impact lives through music ministry.
